## ARENA BATTLE — RESULT AUTHORITY AND ENVIRONMENT

## 1. Pragmatic result source
Round totals come from numeric provider-response balance movements recorded in the isolated game ledger. The wager must match the response, winnings must belong to the active round and a finalized round record must exist. OCR does not create this amount.

OCR gates presentation: the actual result screen must appear and remain visible for at least five seconds. An uncertain reading never produces an estimated payout.

## 2. Hacksaw result source
The current public demo adapter reads numeric DOM fields for bonus total, last win and before/after balance. It verifies these equations in integer minor units:

```text Reconciliation equations
before balance − purchase + winnings = after balance
last win = bonus total
```

Values must settle before acceptance. OCR only recognizes introduction, continue and final-screen prompts. A player's screenshot or submitted win amount is not a payment input. The player client does not control this browser.

## 3. Financial trust boundary
Hacksaw DOM reconciliation is not an independent, signed provider receipt. Public demo results are not authoritative financial records for real-money use. This release is a demo integration; `PROVIDER_SETTLEMENT_MODE=real` is rejected.

Real-money use requires a separately implemented authorized provider integration, verified round results and financial reconciliation with the operator.

## 4. Accounting contract
- Amounts are safe integers in minor units; the browser does not calculate money.
- The same operation identity and content return the existing result without another write.
- Finalized round results are immutable. A round runs only at its assigned turn.
- An uncertain purchase stops for review; it does not trigger another purchase.
- Reservations, refunds and settlements use durable wallet receipts.
- Lost responses recover with the same receipt identity, never a new payment.
- Site key, player identity and currency are verified within the site scope.

## 5. Scope of test evidence
Unit tests use defined amounts and contract examples. They are not real-game runs. Real-game evidence is recorded separately by game, bonus, round and date.

A local pass does not verify WAN latency, physical mobile devices or capacity for 100 concurrent rooms. Those require separate acceptance tests.
